PIE+ final evaluation meeting in Sibiu, Romania

The final evaluation meeting for the “Project Instruments for Erasmus+” was hosted by ACSCVJ, our Romanian partner organisation, in Sibiu, Romania between the 28th of April and 2nd of May.

The aim of the last meeting was to give to the Project Management Group the possibility to reflect and evaluate the work done in the project as well as the learning and development happened for each partner organization. In the same time we have developed a customize list of documents and information that the partners must sent to the Swedish project manager in order to sort, archivate and report the project.

A dedicated session for future projects was also organized and the partners have looked into what other needs related with project management they have in their organizations and how the work to approach these other issues can look like.

Thirty four participants from the seven partner countries have come together between 21-27th of March 2017 for the second “Project Instruments for Erasmus+” training course.
The course was hosted by our Spanish partner organization Intercambia in the Centre for Social Innovation “La Noria”.

The training course provided the participants with instruments for the successful implementation of their Erasmus+ KA2 in the field of youth projects.

Call for participants for the 2nd training course for the Project Instruments for Erasmus+ project. Malaga, Spain 21-27 March 2017.

Development Assistance Center is looking for four persons interested to take part in the training course “Project Instruments for Erasmus+” that will take place in Malaga, Spain between 21-27 March 2017.

The training course will provide the participants with instruments and work procedures for the successful implementation of their Erasmus+ projects.

The objectives of the training courses are:

  • Reflect upon the process of project management and the benefits of managing projects with the help of dedicated instruments;
  • Explore the quality elements and project management needs of more complex projects (including more than one international mobility);
  • Get familiar with and learn to use the project management instruments developed in PIE+;
  • Give feedback on the presented instruments;
  • Network with project managers and organizations working and interested in working with more complex projects;

Expected impact of the TCs

Increased project management capacities will only benefit the partners and the target group of the project. Developing the project management capacities of the staff of an organization means keeping costs, timeframes and resources to budget while reducing the chance of a project failing. It ensures a minimum level of quality and that the activities are organized and followed up properly. It helps the organizations to use their human resources better increasing in this way the capacity of implementing more projects simultaneously and affecting more and better their target group.

Better project management has many benefits for an organization and all of them are translated into a more successful activity and impact on the target group. Better project management can lead to the development of the organization and its activities and to an increased professionalization of the youth organizations.
